Chelsea are interested in Barcelona forward Fermin Lopez, talkSPORT understands.
The 22-year-old is another product of the hailed La Masia academy at Barca and has made 89 senior appearances for the LaLiga giants.
Lopez has scored 19 goals and assisted 11 others, and earned two caps with the Spanish national team.
Chelsea could look to complete a deal before the end of the transfer window on September 1, but they have not yet made a bid.
Their interest in Lopez comes during negotiations for another two attacking options before Deadline Day.
talkSPORT reported earlier on Tuesday that the Blues are still in talks with Manchester United over a deal for Alejandro Garnacho.

Another busy summer for Chelsea

Around £242m has been spent by the Blues, but they have also made approximately £239m in sales.
Noni Madueke, Joao Felix and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall are among the notable departures from Stamford Bridge.
Carney Chukwuemeka has been announced as their latest sale in a £24m move to Borussia Dortmund after his loan spell last season.
Further income could be generated from the exits of Nkunku and Jackson, who is understood to be a priority signing for Aston Villa.
Newcastle United, AC Milan and Bayern Munich are also interested.
Away from the transfer market, Chelsea have made a strong start to their 2025/26 campaign.
Following a 0-0 draw with Crystal Palace on the opening weekend, they thrashed West Ham 5-1 on Friday night.
