Glorious just revealed its new GMBK 75% gaming keyboard, and it’s ideal for gamers who love to customize their boards but have a tight budget. This new board costs just $59.99 / £49.99, and uses membrane switches rather than mechanical ones, hence the name GMBK (Glorious Membrane Keyboard), but it still packs in some great features.
On paper, this new Glorious GMBK 75% has a shot at making our guide to the best gaming keyboard if it can topple our current budget option, the Corsair K55 Core. From what we’ve seen so far, it’s off to a great start.
The GMBK 75% may be a membrane gaming keyboard, but it’s compatible with Cherry MX keycaps, offering a level of customization often not available on budget keyboards.
Despite being a wired keyboard, the wire is also still replaceable, allowing you to swap it for one that matches your setup or even one of Glorious’ coiled cables. The same goes for the media control knob, which can be replaced with any of the GMMK 3 accessories.
There are also 10 RGB zones on the GMBK 75%, meaning you can concoct some bright and exciting lighting patterns to liven up your desktop.
All of this comes at a super low cost of just $59.99 / £49.99 at launch, with seven total language options available, including US and UK English, German, French, and Nordic.
