GPU

This PC has the impressive RTX 5080, which we’ve reviewed here in our testing labs. Generally speaking, it’s the best option for 4K without spending a significant amount on an RTX 5090, and with DLSS and MFG, it’s able to achieve very high frame rates at high settings with ease. To give you an idea of raw performance, we found that the Founders Edition was able to achieve 35fps, 4K, Ultra settings with Ray Tracing in Cyberpunk 2077. It achieved 68fps with the same settings at 1440p.

CPU

The CPU here is the equally impressive Intel i9-14900KF, which is one of the top offerings for the 14th Gen lineup. We were impressed with this processor’s performance and efficiency in our testing, and now that it’s slightly older and less expensive on the whole, it makes for a smart choice for high-end gaming builds. This CPU boasts 24 cores, 32 threads, a 125W TDP, a super-fast 6GHz boost clock, and ample-sized 36MB L3 cache. While it may not have as big a cache as some of the Ryzen X3D alternatives, its core and thread count make it arguably better for non-gaming uses as well. If you’re a video editor, working in 3D modeling, or streaming, then this is a good processor to have in your PC.

RAM, storage, and cooling

You’ve got 32GB of DDR5 RAM with 6400MHz speeds in this build, which is up there with some of the top offerings we’ve seen. 32GB is going to be great for gaming and ensuring that you’re able to run loads of different applications, too. In terms of storage, you’ve got your standard 2TV NVMe SSD, but this is a Gen4 option, which means you’ll likely be getting speeds of sub 6000Mb/s. That’s not a huge deal, but if you’re a die-hard enthusiast, it may bug you a little. A realistic scenario of how large this SSD is that it would hold comfortably around 10 AAA games and loads of 4K footage at the same time.

The cooling in this PC is the Gambias Auro GL360, which is an AIO 360mm option. As with the RAM, there’s a touch of RGB here, which is great for adding a bit of visual flair, plus it looks to be powerful enough to keep the Intel 14th Gen CPU and RT 5080 running at their best.

Who’s this deal for?

Coming in at $2,609.99 with the deal and promo code combined, you’re getting a fair amount of bang for your buck here. Generally speaking, most RTX 5080 gaming PC with higher-end CPUs come in closer to $3000 to $3200. We think the win here is going for a 14th Gen Intel CPU, rather than one of the Intel Core Ultra options.

For anyone looking for something powerful for 4K gaming, and amazing for 1440p, we think this is an excellent PC to go for. We would advise double-checking this rig’s WIFI connectivity, however. The product listing has it as WIFI 5 ready, which doesn’t make a whole lot of sense to us, considering this is a newer model, which we’d expect to be a minimum of WIFI 6 or WIFI 6E.
