A town centre comic shop has been targeted by suspected arsonists this morning.
A blaze ripped through Get Ready Comics in High Street, destroying much of its high-end designer products.

The owner, Paul Blakeborough only moved to the premises recently and had previously run a much smaller business just down the road.
The shop next to the Blue Boar Lane car park, which used to be a hairdressing salon, was cordoned off this morning.
Staff posted on social media that it was closed due to the fire and that nobody had been hurt or injured as a result of the incident.
A spokesman for Kent Fire and Rescue Service said: “KFRS was called to reports of a fire at a commercial premises in High Street, Rochester.
“Three fire engines attended, and crews used hose reel jets to extinguish a fire involving the doorway and exterior of the premises.

“No injuries were reported, and the cause is believed to be deliberate.
“Kent Police also attended.”

Police have been approached for a comment.
