Sony has announced the INZONE H9 II gaming headset from its INZONE gaming brand. The headset will be released on September 5, 2025 and is now available for pre-order.

The “INZONE H9 II” is a gaming headset developed in collaboration with the e-sports team “Fnatic”. Sony and Fnatic have worked together to determine the sound and microphone quality tuning, the headset’s fit, and the placement of each button.
The headset is equipped with a proprietary driver unit, which is also used in the flagship WH-1000XM6 wireless headphones, and has been tuned specifically for FPS with enhanced sound quality and localization. The equalizer preset, developed in collaboration with Fnatic’s VALORANT and Apex Legends teams, optimizes gunfire, footsteps, and sound effects for each title. The company claims to bring players a winning experience through sound.
The mouth-reaching microphone boom and unidirectional microphone effectively eliminate ambient noise with AI noise reduction technology. Wideband super wideband compatibility reproduces clear and natural sound, even down to the details of the voice. The advanced noise reduction technology and speech quality provide the best voice chat performance in the series’ history.
Lightweight design weighing only 260g reduces the burden on the head, and the optimized side pressure and uniquely structured headband maintain comfort even during long hours of play. A wide range of connectivity options are supported, including 2.4GHz wireless connectivity using a USB Type-C transceiver , Bluetooth Classic, LE Audio, and 3.5mm wired connectivity. Simultaneous 2.4GHz wireless and Bluetooth connections are also supported, allowing simultaneous connection to a smartphone while using a PC or game console.
The “noise canceling mode” reduces ambient noise to help detect faint footsteps or gunshots during combat. It also has an “ambient sound mode” that lets in ambient sounds.
