It’s been just over a month since the highly anticipated release of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4, and fans remain deeply engaged with the title from Iron Galaxy and Activision. So much so that the US publisher announced that the community has surpassed the collective milestone of 10 million hours played and, to celebrate, announced an update that adds the long-awaited option to share user-created parks.
New features coming to Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4
Create-A-Park mode is one of the most beloved by the community; however, players were disappointed to discover that Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 did not allow them to enjoy it online. Well, that’s over now, because starting this week, “you’ll be able to build the most incredible ramps, the most extreme jumps, and the skate parks of your dreams in Create-A-Park, and share them with friends in private games.” This was reported by Activision in a press release.
Simply enter multiplayer mode, select Private Match, then Select Map and Create a Park. From there, you can choose parks from the developers or use the search engine to find one from another user. The update also adds quality-of-life improvements such as new Stat Point notifications, more consistent grinds and gap triggers, and a host of adjustments that optimize fluidity across various levels, menus, and modes.
As expected, the patch also fixed minor issues, such as options disappearing or loading screens freezing in private games; voice chat and groups are now more stable; and specific console-related bugs were fixed.
