Tottenham Hotspur have now been offered a chance to sign a prolific Serie A attacker, who they have been interested in for many years, as their move for Manchester City star Savinho has hit a roadblock.
Tottenham fans are understandably disappointed by what has happened regarding their pursuit of Savinho, who is now expected to stay at Manchester City, according to some sources.
While it is unclear if Spurs have given up on the Brazilian completely, some reports are already suggesting that Tottenham are exploring moves for other wingers, such as Monaco’s Maghnes Akliouche.
It has now emerged that the Lilywhites are being offered a great opportunity to land a versatile attacker who scored 20 goals and provided seven assists last term.
Ademola Lookman has been offered to Tottenham
This update comes from TBR Football and claims that Tottenham Hotspur have been offered a chance to sign Ademola Lookman from Atalanta before the transfer window slams shut.
The outlet reveals that Lookman has already handed in a transfer request to Atalanta and was expected to complete a move to Inter Milan, but his move to the Nerazzurri has now collapsed.
As a result, the versatile forward is now looking for other options late in the transfer window, and his representatives have now contacted Tottenham to ask if they would be interested in a deal.
Lookman’s entourage have also reached out to Arsenal, Chelsea, Aston Villa and Manchester City, who have all shown interest in the 27-year-old in the past.
How much would Tottenham have to pay for Lookman?
TBR Football say that Spurs have been fans of Lookman from way back in 2018, and the winger’s camp have now informed the North London club that the player is available as his move to the San Siro has collapsed.
The report adds that since Tottenham’s move for Savinho has stalled and Thomas Frank still wants an attacker to replace Heung-min Son, the Atalanta man could be an option.
According to the publication, Ivan Juric’s men are demanding around £43m for the former Everton man, which may not be an issue for Tottenham or other Premier League sides.
