Rail passengers are facing hours of delays and diversions after a train broke down and blocked two lines of tracks.
The carriages are stationary across the tracks in Dartford, which has meant services coming out of London have been delayed or diverted.

Southeastern confirmed just after 5.20pm that trains cannot get into the town from the Woolwich or Bexleyheath lines.
Engineers are working to fix it and move the affected unit “as soon as possible” by attaching another train to it, the firm said.
The disruption is expected to last until 10pm.
People affected can use their tickets on TfL buses, London Underground and Thameslink free of charge.
