BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — Deputies seized an illegal “fish table” gaming machine during a search in Wofford Heights.
The Kern County Sheriff’s Office said on August 18, 2025, at around 2 p.m., deputies from the Kern County Sheriff’s Office Kern Valley Substation executed a search warrant in the 7000 block of Wofford Boulevard as part of an ongoing investigation into illegal gambling operations.
KCSO said during the search, deputies allegedly found and seized an illegal “fish table” gaming machine, which is commonly associated with unlicensed gambling activity.
The investigation is ongoing.
No arrests were made at the time of the search, according to KCSO.
