What is in this gaming PC?

RTX 5090

It isn’t clear which variant of the RTX 5090 will be a part of this gaming PC, but since it is a ZOTAC prebuilt, it would be safe to assume it’ll be a ZOTAC variant. While we haven’t reviewed any ZOTAC GPUs, we have tested and reviewed the MSI RTX 5090 Suprim SOC and the ASUS ROG Astral RTX 5090 BTF OC.

You can check out their reviews for more details, but their performance was similar, with both going neck and neck in productivity and gaming. We’ll showcase their output so you’ll understand what this GPU is capable of and what to expect from the card inside this gaming PC.

In Cyberpunk 2077, we got 110 and 114 FPS at 4K with both cards, respectively. So, there isn’t a huge difference, and we saw the same in other titles like Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered and F1 24, with 151, 152, 136, and 135 FPS, respectively. On the other hand, the synthetic testing was also the same, as we saw both GPUs churning out 7,402 points in Blender Monster. So, whichever variant you get, it should deliver exceptional performance across the board.

Ryzen 7 9700X

This is an excellent mid-range GPU that is capable of being paired with high-end GPUs, and it shouldn’t hold the RTX 5090 back when it comes to productivity or gaming. We tested the performance of this processor with the RTX 4070 Ti Super and got 325 and 240 FPS in Cyberpunk 2077 and Days Gone at 1080p low settings.

However, if you have the RTX 5090, you likely won’t be playing at 1080p or even 1440p, as it is a solid 4K card. One thing to note is that when we tested this CPU, it was limited to a 65W TDP, but shortly after its release, AMD changed the TDP to 105W, meaning the cores get more power and hence, better output.

Storage, RAM, and other components

A high-end PC isn’t complete without plenty of system memory, storage, and other components. So, ZOTAC included 32GB of DDR5 RAM, 2TB of storage, a 1300W gold-rated PSU, WiFi 7, and pre-installed Windows 11. This should have you covered from every angle.

The powerful PSU should be enough for the 5090, and you could even upgrade the CPU if you wanted, and Windows 11 is a smart move, as the support for Windows 10 will end in October this year. This should keep your system safe with regular updates and fixes from Microsoft.

This gaming PC is an excellent option for a wide array of individuals, such as but not limited to gamers, content creators, tech enthusiasts, programmers, and more. It sports powerful hardware, and you shouldn’t feel like the performance or efficiency is lacking even after a couple of years.

That being said, the only upgrade that you might need to do, depending on the type of work you’re doing, is to increase the system memory and storage. Besides that, this prebuilt option leaves nothing to the imagination, and you should have a smooth and stable working and gaming experience.
