Five More Games Leaving Xbox Game Pass

Borderlands 3 and four other games will be removed from Xbox Game Pass on August 31, 2025.

Xbox Game Pass recently added a whole set of new games to the library with Wave 1 for August 2025, including the fan favourite Assassin’s Creed Mirage. At that time, only three titles were removed from the library. The Xbox app has now revealed that five more games will be removed from the collection.

Games Leaving Game Pass in August

Through the Xbox App, it was revealed that Borderlands 3: Ultimate Edition, This War of Mine: Final Cut, Ben 10: Power Trip, Sea of Stars, and PAW Patrol Mighty Pups Save Adventure Bay are leaving Game Pass in the next 13 days. This brings the total count of games leaving this month to 8, with Anthem, Farming Simulator 22, and Persona 3 Reload removed a couple of days ago. More titles might be removed when Wave 2 for August 2025 is announced.

Borderlands 3: Ultimate Edition is a great pick out of the 5, and the best version to try the game on. It includes all six content add-ons along with all the bonus cosmetic packs. If you find the game interesting enough to add to your library permanently, then these five games are also on discount.

In other news, the former PlayStation boss has stated that Game Pass isn’t creating value for the developers and is making them “wage slaves”. Additionally, the following games were added to the service in July. Will you be trying out any of the five games that are leaving Game Pass in August?
