A pervert found with more than 1,000 indecent images on his devices has admitted downloading the vile pictures.
James Thurston was found with a total of 1,182 indecent images of all categories on his devices when police went to his home in Chatham.

The 23-year-old’s home was searched on August 14 last year, when officers found 326 Category A images, 531 Category B images and 325 Category C images on his devices.
Thurston, of Chatham Grove, Chatham, was later charged and admitted three counts of making indecent images of children when he appeared at Medway Magistrates’ Court on August 5.
District Judge Stephen Leake heard the matters were too serious to be dealt with in the lower court and should be sent to a crown court for sentencing.
Florence Odongo, prosecuting, said: “He had over 1000 images of all categories.”
Judge Leake agreed there were so many images that the matters were too serious to be dealt with in the magistrates’ court and sent them to Maidstone Crown Court so Thurston could be sentenced there.

A pre-sentencing report was also ordered to be completed on Thurston before he learned his fate.
He was told he must comply with the requirements of the notification requirements of the Sex Offenders Register within three days of his court appearance.
Individuals convicted of certain sexual offences must regularly inform the police about their personal information and any changes to that information, which includes providing details like their name, address, date of birth, and passport information.
Thurston was granted bail until he learns his fate, and a date for his sentencing hearing is yet to be determined.
