The opening date has been revealed for the second Kent store of a Danish homeware and lifestyle brand.
Last month, Søstrene Grene announced it was coming to Fremlin Walk in Maidstone.

This week, it has announced its doors are set to open on Friday, August 29, inside the unit formerly occupied by Laura Ashley
The Scandinavian chain offers a range of soft furnishings, kitchenware, furniture, gifts, hobby crafts, seasonal decorations and children’s toys.
Mikkel Grene, group CEO and co-owner of Søstrene Grene, said: “We are delighted to continue our UK expansion with our new Maidstone store.
“The town is a fascinating destination and we’re excited to bring a touch of Scandinavian charm, offering an inviting experience to all guests.”
Originating in Denmark, Søstrene Grene now has 350 stores globally, and more than 50 locations across the UK and is targeting 100 by 2027.
In June, KentOnline reported how the retailer had opened its first store in the county, in the Royal Victoria Place shopping centre in Tunbridge Wells.
UK partners, Norma Jacob and Richard Power, who operate Søstrene Grene outlets across Northern Ireland, Southern England, Scotland and Wales, are excited to bring shoppers to Maidstone.
“Fremlin Walk offers a fresh and inspiring way to experience Søstrene Grene in the heart of the town’s shopping district,” said Norma Jacob.
“We aim to create a calm, welcoming space where customers can explore and enjoy a moment of Scandinavian serenity.”
Richard Powers added: “We’re thrilled by the warmth and enthusiastic response to our store openings.

“We’re excited to introduce the world of Søstrene Grene to this new destination and bring the timeless design to Maidstone.
Following the Danish “hygge” philosophy, Søstrene Grene brands itself on cosiness, contentment and comfort.
Doors will open at 9.59am, and to mark the occasion, the first 100 customers will receive a voucher for a rug, worth more than £60.
Guests will also receive a canvas tote bag and will be able to see what the store has to offer alongside refreshments and a live classical string duo and ballerinas.
