While Saber Interactive won’t be showing off their upcoming Jurassic Park: Survival at Gamescom next week, the developer has instead released a new behind-the-scenes featurette for the upcoming action-adventure title. This newest look at the game shows how the teams at Saber and NBCUniversal are working to create the immersive experience that Jurassic Park fans have wanted for decades.
The video details how both teams have worked to recreate Isla Nublar “down to the finest details.” That includes visiting Jurassic Park’s most iconic locations such as the iconic towering park gates to the Visitor Center, as well as discovering new landmarks and “never before seen” surprises.
As Dr. Maya Joshi (played by actress Payal Mistry), an InGen scientist left behind on Isla Nublar, players will experience an intense mix of first-person stealth and action gameplay in thrilling encounters with the island’s dinosaurs, brought to life with special attention to capturing their authentic look, movement, and behavior from the film.
As Joshi, players will need to outsmart, escape, and engage with the various dinosaurs. You’ll need to use distraction, stealth, and ingenuity in order to survive as you navigate the park’s many varied locations and dangers. Use all the resources at your disposal and find intelligent solutions to endure the wide range of threats on the island.
Jurassic Park: Survival is in development for PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, and the Xbox Series.
