If you’re on the hunt for a PC that’s great for 1080p gaming, want to stick to a budget of under $1000, and would prefer one with more recently released components, then this is a great deal to check out. Right now, this AOACE RTX 5060 gaming PC is down $930 on its list price, reducing it from $1,799.99 to $869.00 at Newegg.

While we think this PC is closer to $1400 based on its components, we’d still say that it’s a great price for a machine with a 50-series GPU, 14th Gen Intel processor, and a decent whack of RAM, too. Plus, at the time of writing, you can score a $40 promotional gift card with your purchase. Win, win.

What we like about this AOACE gaming PC

This gaming PC has pretty much everything you’d need for 1080p gaming, and should be able to do pretty well with 1440p with DLSS, too. The RTX 5060 may be limited to just 8GB of VRAM, but it does feature a new type of memory, GDDR7, which is faster and allows for more bandwidth compared to the RTX 4060. Overall, it’s a solid improvement between the generations and the best pick to go for if you’re sticking to a budget.

The CPU is also a good option for gaming, and is a more recent 14th-gen Intel processor. It has a decent core and thread count, boost clock speed, and L3 cache, which make it good for single-core performance tasks, like gaming, and relatively good for multitasking.

Where this PC scales back is its RAM and SSD, both of which are older gen and, in the RAM’s case, not very fast. Coming in at 3200MHz, this DDR4 RAM won’t be anywhere close to some of the DDR5 offerings, but it does help keep the overall price of this rig down. If you’re mostly gaming in 1080p at high fps, we doubt this will be an issue.

• Decent amount of RAM and storage: 32GB of DDR4 is enough to keep your system running smoothly and feeling responsive, while 1TB of storage is enough for around 7 to 10 AAA titles.
• Eye-catching design: ARGB fans and a case with glass panels make this one of the best-looking PCs we’ve come across.

Who’s this deal for?

While the discount may seem massive, we’d value this PC closer to $1200 to $1400 based on its components. That being said, it’s still a very good price for someone looking for something under $1000 that will be great for high fps, FHD gaming.

If you want something better for 1440p, we’d recommend checking out some of the RTX 5070Ti PCs instead, which will be better at handling higher fps at this resolution.
