Dell’s top-spec Alienware AW2725Q has received a post-launch discount on Amazon. It comes with a 4K 27-inch QD-OLED panel that refreshes at 240 Hz.
Dell showed off a high-end Alienware-branded gaming monitor at CES 2025 called the AW2725Q. It comes with all the bells and whistles of a flagship product, and an exorbitant price tag to match. A new promotion on Amazon makes it slightly cheaper. At launch, it cost $899, but CamelCamelCamel’s price tracker and Dell’s website state it goes for $799. You can buy the Alienware AW2725Q on Amazon for $689.
The monitor comes with a 27-inch 4th-gen Samsung QD-OLED panel. It has a resolution of 4K (3,840 x 2,160) and a refresh rate of 240 Hz, making it ideal for e-sports setups. Workloads that require a colour-accurate screen can benefit from the Alienware AW2725Q’s 99% advertised coverage of the DCI-P3 colour gamut. Gamers, on the other hand, will find Nvidia G-Sync and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro beneficial.
The Alienware AW2725Q has a somewhat low average brightness of 250 nits that goes up to 1,000 nits (3% APL) while viewing HDR content. Along with two HDMI 2.1 ports and a DP 1.4 port, the monitor comes with a five-port USB hub, which includes three 5 Gbps USB Type-A ports, a 5 Gbps USB Type-C port that can deliver up to 15 Watts of power and a USB-B port.
