Firefighters are tackling a large blaze at an industrial estate which is sending plumes of thick smoke into the sky.
The incident in a unit at Sycamore Farm in Millbank Lane, Old Romney, has sparked a huge emergency response – with crews at the scene now tackling the flames.
Six fire engines are currently at the scene off the A259 after the alarm was raised shortly before 11am today.
The service says crews are using main jets and compressed air foam systems to contain and extinguish the fire.
People living or travelling near Old Romney are being told to close their windows and doors due to the smoke.
