Farmington, N.Y. — A 34-year-old man was arrested after making threats to blow up Finger Lakes Gaming & Racetrack on Saturday, according to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies were called to the casino after Jose Luis Torres-Berrios allegedly threatened to go home, make several explosives and use them to blow up the casino and the people inside.
The incident occurred after security had attempted to remove him from the bar section following a verbal altercation, according to the sheriff’s office.
Torres-Berrios was charged with making a terroristic threat. He was transported to the Ontario County jail where he was held to await arraignment.
