Trains have been brought to a halt after a trespasser made their way on the line.
Emergency services have been called the incident near Maidstone West railway station.
Southeastern says passengers can expect delays in the area.
Writing on X, formerly Twitter, a spokesman said: “Because of a trespasser on the line at Maidstone West, trains are being disrupted in the area, while emergency services are on the way.
“The current has been switched off for safe access to the tracks.”
