CCTV images released after woman ‘touched inappropriately at bus station’

Police have issued CCTV images of a man after a woman was reportedly touched inappropriately.

Officers wish to speak to the individual following reports of concerning behaviour, which happened when the suspect approached the alleged victim at Canterbury Bus Station.

The man allegedly touched the woman over clothing before boarding a bus in the direction of Herne Bay.

The incident reportedly happened at about 7.45pm on Friday, June 27.

Officers have been carrying out inquiries, including the examination of CCTV footage, and are now able to release images of a man who may be able to help them with their investigation.

Anyone who recognises the man in the image or has any other information is asked to call police on 01843 222 289, quoting reference number 46/109574/25.
