Emergency crews were called to the A2 following a crash involving an overturned vehicle.
Three lanes were closed on the coastbound carriageway in Gravesend between the A227 and M2 due to the incident.
Police officers were called to a crash between a lorry and two cars near Cobham just before midday (Friday) where a woman reported minor injuries.
They were joined at the scene by traffic officers from National Highways.
The vehicles have since been moved on to the hard shoulder and all lanes have been reopened.
There is around three miles of congestion on the approach causing 30 minute delays.
