This excellent, budget-friendly gaming monitor is now at its best price ever on Amazon, making it seriously appealing for cost-effective gaming setups. Coming in with a 29% discount and only $199.97, this Sceptre 34-inch ultrawide has everything you’d need to pair with a 1440p gaming PC, especially for those who prefer playing at higher fps.

This monitor ticks more than a few boxes in our eyes, and we think it’s great value for money at its current price. Here’s a closer look at what it brings to the table, and why you may want to go for it.

What we like about the Sceptre 34-Inch Curved Ultrawide

First off, this is a WQHD monitor with a resolution of 3440 x 1440p coming in at 34 inches. This is a good size for the resolution, which won’t have an impact on picture sharpness, but will give you a more immersive experience when gaming. Speaking of picture quality, it’s surprisingly bright for a monitor this affordable and boasts 99% sRGB color gamut, which is quite good even for creative professionals.

If you’re lucky enough to have a 50-series graphics card, then we’d recommend upping your budget to make the most out of it. Go for something with QD-OLED and a higher refresh rate to really showcase what the card is made of.
