ACMI’s Game Worlds Will Bring Some Incredible Gaming Experiences To Melbourne

ACMI has today expanded on its Game Worlds exhibition as tickets go on sale. It will begin on September 18th bring over 40 experiences from games that have released between the 70s and upcoming games including Hollow Knight.

Tickets are available now starting at $17 for children and $26 for adults and you can grab them HERE. The exhibition will feature major games such as:

  • Hollow Knight: Silksong (Team Cherry).
  • Final Fantasy XIV Online (Square Enix),
  • Minecraft (Mojang Studios)
  • The EIder Scrolls Online (ZeniMax Online Studios/ Bethesda Softworks),
  • SimCity (Electronic Arts)
  • Stardew Valley (ConcernedApe)
  • World ofWarcraft (Blizzard Entertainment)
  • The Sims (Electronic Arts)
  • Neopets (World of Neopia)

The exhibition will also feature Aussie games such as Ispod by Queensland’s Sbug Games as well as iconic games such as Celesete and Terra Nil as well as iconic 80s/90s games including The Sentinel (Geoff Crammond/Firebird), The Hobbit (Melbourne House), Doom (id Software/Bethesda Softworks) and Team Fortress (Valve); and early pioneering titles from the 1970’s including Maze War (Greg Thompson and Dave Lebling), Colossal Cave Adventure (William Crowther) and groundbreaking text-based adventure game Zork (Infocom).

There will also be an after dark portion with late-night access, developer talks and industry events and exclusive merchandise including limited-edition collectibles for Neopets, The Sims and Hollowknight: Singsong
