A man has been charged with three counts of causing grievous bodily harm with intent after three people – including a police officer – suffered serious injuries.
Armed police and paramedics were called to reports of an assault at a property in Tradewinds, Whitstable, shortly after 5.30am on Sunday.

One woman was initially found badly hurt and taken to hospital for medical attention, followed by a man discovered with serious injuries shortly after.
A third person – a female police officer – was also hospitalised.
Christopher Gilham, from Willow Road, Dartford, was later arrested and has since been charged with three counts of causing grievous bodily harm with intent.
The 32-year-old is also accused of escaping lawful custody.
Gilham was remanded in custody yesterday ahead of an appearance at Maidstone Crown Court on August 26.
All three alleged victims have been discharged from hospital.
