With Part One of Alien: Rogue Incursion Evolved Edition coming on September 30, developer Survios has taken advantage of Comic-Con, debuting the new ‘Evolution’ trailer for the upcoming action-horror title. Pre-orders for the Evolved Edition are available now on PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam, with wishlisting available on Epic Games Store.
The new trailer gives fans a first look at the Evolved Edition’s even smarter and deadlier Xenomorphs in action, alongside enhanced visuals on display, including running at 60 FPS.
Set in the Alien film universe, Alien: Rogue Incursion – Part One sees players suit up as rogue Colonial Marine Zula Hendricks (voiced by Andia Winslow) on a mission to the planet Purdan (LV-354) in search of a former squadmate. After a sudden attack, Zula and her Synthetic companion, Davis 01 (voiced by Robbie Daymond) find themselves in Gemini Exoplanet Solutions’ hauntingly desolate research facility, Castor’s Cradle.
With the colony destroyed, resources like ammunition and health supplies are limited, so you’ll have to scrounge and scavenge to stay stocked. That means searching every possible room, closet, and corner, where more than just supplies are hiding. With Xenomorphs lurking everywhere, you’ll most likely hear them before you see them. Spatial sound alerts you where they’re stalking, but your survival is up to you.
Alien: Rogue Incursion – Part One stands alone as a complete story, but also leaves you hanging on a cliffhanger to dive deeper into Zula’s unfolding story in Part Two, where she will face new challenges and deadlier enemies.
The original VR version of Alien: Rogue Incursion is currently available for the PlayStation VR 2 and SteamVR.
