Fulham have made a formal approach to sign Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall from Chelsea, talkSPORT understands.
The Cottagers’ move for the midfielder follows an enquiry from West Ham earlier in the summer transfer window.
Chelsea value Dewsbury-Hall as a squad player, but he is not a name they are actively looking to sell.
An exit is possible at the right price, though, and it would need to be more than the £30million the Blues paid to Leicester.
The 26-year-old arrived at Stamford Bridge last year, following Enzo Maresca through the door as he departed the Foxes.
But he only made 13 Premier League appearances last season, with him being left as an unused substitute in another 13 games.

Dewsbury-Hall started just two games in the top-flight last term.
He did have a lot more of an impact in Europe, though, appearing in every game of their Conference League-winning campaign.
Four of his five Chelsea goals so far came in that competition, along with three of his four assists for the club.
But Dewsbury-Hall will likely want some more first-team opportunities after struggling to break into Maresca’s set-up.
He has had to compete with the likes of Moises Caicedo, Enzo Fernandez and Romeo Lavia in the regular line-up.
Chelsea have also welcomed the summer arrivals of Dario Essugo and Kendry Paez, while Andrey Santos has returned from loan, all adding to the midfield competition.
Fulham have offered Dewsbury-Hall a potential move away from Chelsea for some more game time with an approach made.
Marco Silva is looking to improve his midfield ranks that include Sander Berge, Sasa Lukic, Harrison Reed and Andreas Pereira.
Club captain Tom Cairney, who was linked with Wrexham, has also signed a new contract at Craven Cottage.
The Cottagers have only made one signing so far this summer, with veteran goalkeeper Benjamin Lecomte joining.
But a move for Dewsbury-Hall could up their activity in the window.
Chelsea are wanting more than £30m for him though, which would make him Fulham’s club-record signing should the deal happen.

Chelsea’s failed swap deal
The Blues have already shown they’re up for letting Dewsbury-Hall leave this summer after they used him in a swap offer.
Maresca was eyeing Mohammed Kudus before he joined Tottenham, and he tried to prise him away from West Ham in June.
He offered the likes of Dewsbury-Hall and Robert Sanchez to the Hammers in a player-plus-cash deal.
West Ham had already expressed an interest in January.

But that offer was rejected, with Kudus then joining Spurs.
It proved that Chelsea would consider letting Dewsbury-Hall go, but Fulham now need to match his price tag.
