Any sale on Switch 2 games draws attention, particularly when it involves a reduced Mario Kart World price. The open-world racing game is experiencing one of its first Woot discounts. Buyers can benefit from improved Switch 2 specs with a pair of critically acclaimed, upgraded Zelda adventures.

Nintendo first-party titles are rarely sold below MSRP, which can frustrate deal hunters. That’s especially the case with new Switch 2 games like Mario Kart World. While Costco discounts the kart racer, the deal requires a costly membership. Fortunately, another retailer has Switch 2 merchandise for less than full price. Buyers will find a Mario Kart World price of $72 at Woot, along with a sale on Zelda games.

Fans of cartridges will appreciate that Woot stocks the physical versions of these games. The movement toward digital gaming and Game-Key Cards has concerned preservationists. Mario Kart World and the Switch 2 versions of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and Breath of the Wild don’t require downloads.

How Switch 2 specs transform Mario Kart World and Zelda gameplay

As a Switch 2 launch title, Mario Kart World has sold at a prolific pace. It gives a large cast of Nintendo characters more freedom to explore tracks and surrounding environments. In the first open-world entry in the series, gamers can drive themselves to different areas. That’s both a blessing and a curse, with some players complaining there isn’t enough to do along these journeys. Nevertheless, its other single-player and multiplayer modes offer substantial replay value.

Upgraded Switch 2 specs have reintroduced fans to some of the most highly-rated Zelda games. The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom now outputs a 1080p resolution in handheld mode, and up to 4K when docked. Loading times are also faster, while a companion app guides players as they trek across Hyrule. The Tears of the Kingdom Switch 2 Edition is $71.99 at Woot, a reduction from its $79 Amazon price.

For $61.99, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild boasts the same advantages as Tears of the Kingdom. Most noticeably, visuals render at 60 fps, rather than the 30 fps encountered on the original handheld. The Zelda titles rank as the top Switch 2 games on the Metacritic review aggregator.

With free shipping for Nintendo gamers who subscribe to Amazon Prime, Woot is an attractive alternative. However, quantities are limited, and Mario Kart World and its Zelda companions will likely sell out.

Purchase Mario Kart World for $71.99, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom for $71.99, and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild for $61.99 at Woot.
