Tottenham Hotspur have now received an official offer for their captain, Heung-min Son, as reports continue to indicate that his exit from Spurs is potentially nearing.
In his press conference last week, Thomas Frank refused to confirm that Son is staying, instead suggesting that the Lilywhites face a ‘tricky’ decision on the South Korean’s future, given how long he has been at the club.
Earlier this week, Spurs Web relayed suggestions that Son could leave Tottenham following their pre-season tour of South Korea, which could end up being the 33-year-old’s farewell tour.
On Wednesday, The Athletic reported that Los Angeles FC were determined to bring Son through the door this summer after hearing that he does not feature centrally in Frank’s plans at Tottenham.

The rumours linking the 33-year-old with a move to California appear to be gathering steam over the last few hours, and a new report has suggested that the MLS side have now made their move.
This report comes from The Telegraph, who say that LAFC have now submitted an official offer to Tottenham Hotspur for their captain.
While the outlet does not provide the information on how much the bid is worth, it is made clear that Son’s future will not be resolved immediately.
The report backs up what we have heard from other sources by stating that Tottenham are contractually obligated to include the forward in their pre-season tour of South Korea.
Son will be allowed to make the final decision over his future
Over the last few weeks, various sources have claimed that Tottenham will allow Son to decide if he wants to stay or leave this summer.
Daniel Levy and the Spurs hierarchy do not intend to push the forward out of the door, even though he only has a year left on his contract.
There have been suggestions that Tottenham are happy for Son to stay at least until January, but at the same time, some publications have asserted Spurs will not stand in Son’s way if a suitable opportunity for an exit arrives.
