LEGO just dropped a new Nintendo Game Boy Set that’s an authentic replica of the original handheld gaming system from the ‘90s. The new Game Boy Set will officially release on October 1, but you can preorder yours now for $60.

This LEGO Game Boy Set will have you doing a double-take with its extensive realism. Featuring 421 pieces, the set is nearly a 1:1 scale replica of the original Game Boy system that launched in 1989 and gained popularity throughout the ‘90s.
With working control pad and buttons, the LEGO Game Boy Set includes two video game cartridges — “The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening” and “Super Mario Land” — and a game pack slot like the original. You can select either of these game screens to display or showcase the Nintendo start screen.
But because of the huge nostalgia factor behind this LEGO Game Boy Set, we expect pre-orders will fill quickly and — upon its release on October 1 — for it to sell out fast. So, don’t wait too long to preorder this new LEGO Set, especially if you’re a Nintendo fan.
