We’re eating good today, Pokémon fans.

Pokémon fans got a first look at new shows, games, and game updates in the latest Pokémon Presents this morning.

The newest Pokémon series in collaboration with Aardman will be called Pokémon Tales: The Misadventures of Sirfetch’d & Pichu, and a brief teaser shows a Wooloo going about its day while Pichu and Sirfetch’d cause commotion in the background. Featuring the classic Aardman claymation style, as seen in the studio’s other films like Wallace and Gromit and Chicken Run, the new series is sure to have plenty of hijinks. Check out the teaser below:

Fans also saw more details for the upcoming battling-centric mobile game, Pokémon Champions. Trainers will be able to recruit Pokémon to train and customize for their Pokémon teams, offering tons of options for gameplay. There will be three battle modes in the game: Ranked Battles, where players can test their skills from all over the world; Casual Battles, where Trainers can battle against other players in a more relaxed setting; and Private Battles, for players to battle their family and friends in the same space. Pokémon Champions will be available on the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2, as well as on mobile devices, early next year. For more details on the game, visit the official Pokémon Champions website.

Fans were shown more details of the upcoming entry in the main game series, Pokémon Legends: Z-A. In addition to a brand new Mega Evolution for the Dragon/Flying-type Pokémon, Dragonite, there’s a new phenomenon of Rogue Mega Evolutions. In this scenario, Pokémon will Mega Evolve on their own without a bond with a Trainer, and it will play a part in the game’s story. You’ll meet and work alongside Naveen and Lida, members of Team MZ, to keep Lumiose City safe for Trainers and Pokémon alike, as well as other characters like the detective Emma, who may ask for help solving mysteries, and the director of the city’s Pokémon Research Lab, Mable.

While on your journey, you’ll notice a change in how the game is played during the day and at night: Pokémon can be caught during the day, while at night, fellow Trainers will come out for the Z-A Royale to compete in battles and increase their ranks. As you climb to higher ranks, you will encounter more powerful opponents, like the leader of the Rust Syndicate, Corbeau. When you aren’t battling/saving the city, you’ll get to spend time with your Pokémon, and can customize your style with hair salons and clothing shops.

Pokémon Legends: Z-A will launch on Thursday, Oct. 16, and a special Nintendo Switch 2 bundle with a copy of the game is available now for pre-order for $499.99 on the My Nintendo Store and select retailers.
