How much GTA 6 will earn in two months is predicted and the figures are dizzying: “The biggest launch of all time”

You don’t have to be a fortune teller to know that Grand Theft Auto VI is going to be a sales smash hit. Rockstar Games’ big games always turn the market upside down, but how much money are we talking about? At the moment, only forecasts can be made because GTA 6 has not yet been released. What is clear is that the numbers that have been put on the table are not exactly low.

According to Josh Chapman of investment firm Konvoy Ventures, the game will generate $7.6 billion in just two months, making it “the biggest launch of all time”. According to Chapman, Rockstar Games will be able to recoup development costs in just one month.

The price of GTA 6 is not yet known

The forecast is supported by two previous assumptions: that the game will cost 90 euros when it is released and that development costs have been about $ 2 billion, although neither of these two assumptions have been officially confirmed by Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive. It is taken for granted that GTA VI will debut new pricing, something Nintendo has already done with Nintendo Switch 2’s Mario Kart World.

More imaginative is his opinion regarding a piece of content he believes the game could incorporate, a platform for the user to create content, very much in the style of Roblox or Minecraft. Be that as it may, all of this has to be analyzed for what it is, a somewhat inventive forecast.

GTA VI was scheduled for 2025, but has been delayed until next May 26, 2026.
