Today, developer Seed Lab dropped a new set of overviews for their coming social life simulation title ‘Starsand Island‘. This time, players can have a gander at Starsand Island’s vehicle and character customisation systems—the former showing off the exorbitant number of drivable vehicles on the island and related features while the latter shows off just how well you can make you look like you, you absolute legend.

Here’s the lowdown on the game’s vehicle system:

This update introduces multiple drivable vehicles, including electric scooters, rollerblades, skateboards, and paragliders, catering to urban cruising, rural roaming, and aerial adventures. Each vehicle boasts unique handling and realistic physics, whether you’re sightseeing leisurely or racing competitively, there’s endless joy to be found with each ride. Some vehicles even feature amphibious capabilities, seamlessly switching between land and water to expand your exploration horizons.

The Vehicle Modification system lets players fully customize their rides. Personalize every detail—paint jobs, decals, wheel rims, and interiors—to craft a one-of-a-kind vehicle.

Break traditional limits with the new dual-seat riding feature. Ride motorcycles alongside NPCs like Solara or real-life friends, share scenic journeys, and snap photos to capture unforgettable memories. Some vehicles also allow adorable pets like cats and dogs to ride along—whether in sidecars, baskets, or footrests—adding warmth and playful interactions to every trip.
