Manchester United have reached an agreement with Brentford to sign Bryan Mbeumo, talkSPORT understands.
United are on course to welcome the winger to Old Trafford in a deal worth £65million plus an extra £6m in add-ons.
The initial £65m transfer fee is due to be paid in four instalments.
United have been in talks with Brentford for more than a month but have been determined to be patient and not overpay.Â
And now they look set finally sign their man in another big transfer.
talkSPORT reported on Wednesday that the Bees were asking for at least the £62.5m United paid for Matheus Cunha for their star.

The bid reached those requirements after multiple previous bids were rejected.
Only three weeks ago, United thought an agreement was almost reached and medical was expected to take place.
But the saga continued to roll on,with their pursuit of the Cameroonian international reaching the £71m mark.
United have been working to get a deal done by Tuesday so he can travel with the squad to their pre-season tour of the USA.
Brentford look set to admit defeat and lose star man Mbeumo, who had the best season of his career last campaign.
He scored 20 goals and provided seven assists in the Premier League.
The Bees are also bracing for an offer from Newcastle for another star from last season in Yoane Wissa.
Wissa is pushing to leave the club amid interest from Tottenham too, with a reunion with Thomas Frank his preferred option.
However, Brentford will likely have a tough decision to make with Man United now closing in on Mbeumo.
A departure for either Wissa and Mbeumo could potentially hinge on each other’s ongoing negotiations.
Some added urgency has been added to talks over Mbeumo following Spurs and Newcastle making a move for Wissa.
Mbeumo would be Man United’s fourth summer signing, with the arrival of Cunha being the major coup so far.
Youngsters Diego Leon and Enzo Kana-Biyik have also joined the club.
Amorim is keen to add more attacking threat to his team after a nightmare first season in charge of the Red Devils.
He will need to bring in some new faces to replace five players who have been told they can depart this summer.
Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho, Alejandro Garnacho, Antony and Tyrell Malacia are all free to leave Old Trafford.

Garnacho has been linked to Aston Villa, while Rashford has been regularly tipped for a move to Barcelona.
