Painting can be a relaxing way to spend a weekend, but not everyone is good at it. This weekend, you have the chance to better your skills with an adult canvas class. The class is at Hands On, located at 147 Shoshone St N in Twin Falls, and will be happening on Thursday from 6 PM to 8 PM. This is for adults only, and you are allowed to bring in your own alcohol if you would like a drink while painting. You will be given instructions, and it is encouraged that you show up on time. Playing chess can be a nice way to spend a weekend. For some, it is a stressful game, but for others, it is relaxing and a great way to exercise their mind. Finding someone to play with can be tough, or learning to play can be as well. Chess in the Park will be happening this Thursday from 6:30 PM to 8:45 PM and is a great way to find a worthy opponent, or perhaps find someone to help teach you how to play or better your strategy. With the weather being warm, escaping to the theatre sounds like a great option. The Orpheum Theatre this weekend will be having ‘The Complete Works of William Shakespeare’ performed, and you will have multiple chances to see it. The improvised comedy will be happening on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, with showtimes at 7 PM Thursday through Saturday and at 2 PM on Sunday. Tickets start as low as $17.50. Friday, July 18, Through Sunday, July 20 – Rally in the Valley

Are you someone who enjoys motorcycles? Do you like talking and looking at bikes while hanging out with other riders? This weekend is the annual Rally in the Valley at the Twin Falls County Fairgrounds in Filer, and it will be happening Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. There will be motorcycles, games, concerts, and a party happening all weekend. Even if you don’t ride, you can still come and enjoy the festivities. Tickets are $30 for the whole day, $50 for a weekend pass, and you can tent camp or stay in your RV for a cost as well. Saturday, July 18 – 15th Annual Fire in the Hole Golf Tournament

If you enjoy golfing, this weekend is a great time to get out and hit the course, but instead of playing a round alone or with only friends, how about playing in the 15th annual Fire in the Hole Golf Tournament? One of the best parts about summer in the Magic Valley is all of the farmers’ markets that take place. Every town seems to have one, and you can browse a different one every weekend and never visit the same one twice. One of the best markets this time of year is Market on Main, which happens on Saturday from 9 AM to 2 PM. It is great to browse through the market, and then shop at the stores downtown, or grab lunch as well. Saturday, July 19 – Kids Art in the Park
Twin Falls City Park is the place to be this weekend. Kids Art in the Park will be taking place from 9 AM to noon on Saturday and is a chance for children to enjoy some artistic workshops that will last around 40 minutes. This is a great chance for your child to discover their artistic ability, and afterwards, there will be tons going on in the park with food trucks, activities, and much more. Saturday, July 19 – Ice Cream Funday
Everybody loves ice cream, and nothing is better than having a cone or cup, except unlimited cups of ice cream. This Saturday, you can eat as much as your stomach can handle at Ice Cream Funday. The event takes place at Twin Falls City Park this Saturday from 11:30 AM to 3 PM. It is $10 for adults and $5 for children 11 and under. There are 20 different flavors to try, and it is always a goal to try to taste them all. You will then vote on your favorite by flavor and by name. Saturday, July 19 – Super Smash Bros Tournament
