From Tuesday, July 15, at 10:00 a.m. to Sunday, July 20, 2025, at 8:00 p.m. local time, Tatsugiri, the Mimicry Pokémon, makes a splash with its debut. Which form of Tatsugiri you encounter depends on your region—in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, you’ll encounter Curly Form Tatsugiri; in the Americas, you’ll encounter Droopy Form Tatsugiri; and in the Asia-Pacific region, you’ll encounter Stretchy Form Tatsugiri.
During the event, you can also enjoy a waterfall of event bonuses, including Rainy Lure Modules lasting for two hours, bonus Candy for Nice Throws or better, and an increased chance to encounter Shiny Staryu and Shiny Tirtouga. Plus, Lapras wearing a scarf caught from raids may have a Seasonal Special Background—if you’re lucky!
