Cast Revealed For Lovecraftian Mystery FMV Title ‘The Infectious Madness of Doctor Dekker 2’

Remember indie developers D’Avekki Studios and their 2017 Lovecraftian murder mystery title The Infectious Madness of Doctor Dekker? Well, they’re set to revisit it with a sequel in The Infectious Madness of Doctor Dekker 2, and now having announced the latest cast members. Doctor Dekker 2 is set to release on PC and consoles in late 2025/early 2026, and is available now to wishlist on Steam and PlayStation.

The Infectious Madness of Doctor Dekker 2 sees players investigating the murder of a professor. However, the body is missing. You’ll need to meet and interview five patients of the recently-deceased Dr. Dekker in order to find the truth. Assisting players with their investigation is Marianna (played by the returning Aislinn De’Ath), who players encountered in the first game. However, Marianna is also pursuing a secret mission of her own.

As in the first game, players ask questions and link answers to solve the murder and help patients with their supernatural problems. Joining the cast are Paul Baverstock as Killian, a programmer and compulsive gambler who tries to code around the bookie’s odds; Harry Bradley as Dune, a 1930s-style detective suffering from amnesia and an internal identity crisis; Anna Fraser as Saphira, a scientist with a long and gothic family history; Beth Gatherer as the forest-dwelling healer Bridget, whose unconventional methods have landed her in trouble with the police; and Sydney Skye as Ophelia, a sculptor who is haunted by voices in the walls of her childhood home.

Sporting a simple UI, players ask questions and respond to patients, watch replays and gather evidence. You must link the patients’ answers together in order to progress. Luckily, you’re able to track things with your notepad. There are multiple endings available to players in The Infectious Madness of Doctor Dekker 2, with different patient outcomes and endings for the killer. And to keep things interesting, the murderers are chosen at random when the game begins.
