Now is the Perfect Time to Play Little Nightmares 2
Little Nightmares 2 is a unique and compelling horror game, and there are a few good reasons why now is a great moment to play it.
As reported by Comicbook, Little Nightmares 2 has become one of the most-played games on Game Pass. Despite being on the service for only about two weeks, it has climbed the charts and attracted a wave of new or returning players. Reportedly, Tarsier Studios’ 2021 horror adventure is currently the third most-played title on Game Pass Standard, which is an impressive feat for a four-year-old game like Little Nightmares 2.
Little Nightmares 2 Tops Game Pass Charts Ahead of the Big Day
Game Pass offers plenty of worthwhile horror games, but the fact that Little Nightmares 2 has surpassed most of them could suggest that many players are giving the series a try to decide if the upcoming third installment is worth picking up. Of course, the recent surge in popularity could also be due to players replaying the game in preparation for Little Nightmares 3. It is worth noting that this isn’t the first time Little Nightmares 2 has topped the charts. According to Video Game Insights, the game has sold about 1.5 million copies since its 2021 launch, placing it among the best-selling small-scale horror titles in recent years.
Game Pass has recently been on a roll, with many of its new additions drawing in large player counts. Call of Duty: WW2, for instance, recently became one of the most-played games on Xbox Game Pass despite being eight years old. A similar scenario is now unfolding with Little Nightmares 2, further stressing the subscription’s potential to revive classic titles.
It’s unlikely that Little Nightmares 2 will leave Game Pass anytime soon, but fans of story-driven horror games are encouraged to check it out while it’s available. The game is normally priced at $30, with the Deluxe Edition costing an additional $10. It’s also worth noting that the campaign can be completed in five to six hours, making it a fairly quick, one-sitting experience.
