Epic Games continues to add all kinds of collaborations to Fortnite, its flagship video game. Taking advantage of the premiere of the new ‘Superman’ movie by James Gunn, starring David Corenswet, the Man of Steel himself arrives to the game not only with a new outfit with the actor’s appearance, but also in the form of a Mythic weapon that allows us to transform into the beloved DC superhero. As Superman, we can fly, shoot laser beams out of our eyes and annihilate our opponents thanks to his super strength.
Superman comes to Fortnite as you’ve never seen him before: you can become him and use his superpowers
To celebrate the release of ‘Superman’ (2025) in theaters, Fortnite begins an event that will take place between July 11 at 9 AM ET and will last until the end of the season, on August 7 at 1:30 AM ET. During this period, it will be possible to find in normal modes (Battle Royale and Zero Build) the new Mythic item Superman’s Call.

It appears randomly on the map, and the first person to obtain it will become the Man of Steel, possessing the ability to fly, melt structures with his thermal vision, and utilize his superhuman strength to defeat opponents with ease.
This is a special transformation in the game that, in the style of Godzilla or commanding a Star Destroyer from ‘Star Wars’ in previous seasons, gives us a significant advantage over the rest of the players. We will not be invincible by any means, and if we lose all our health like Superman, we will return to the playing field as just another player. Even so, the mechanics are very well implemented, and the superhero’s powers are represented with great fidelity within the game.

In addition, the new Superman outfit with the appearance of actor David Corenswet can already be obtained if we are owners of the Battle Pass. To do so, we will have to complete its simple Quests to get not only this new character look, but also its accessories, such as the Daily Flight Glider, the Super Cape Back Bling, the Crystal Smasher Pickaxe, the Super Save Emote and much more. And, as if that wasn’t enough, this outfit has a spectacular alternative style that looks like something out of the comics, with a very successful Pen & Ink effect, and designed by Jim Lee.

It doesn’t stop there: starting July 15, there will be a new location on the map: Superman’s Fortress of Solitude. Its superheroic base is an icy castle straight out of the Arctic tundra itself, and its appearance on the Fortnite island takes this DC Studios-themed collaboration even further. Everything points to this place being packed not only with loot to be obtained, but also with secrets and nods to the comics and the recent movie.
