The Amazon Prime Day sale is almost over, and if you’ve been thinking about upgrading your gaming setup, this is your final call. What’s it to be? A new gaming laptop and monitor? Or has your current gaming chair seen better days? With only a few hours left to save, it’s decision time.
This year’s Prime Day has delivered some dangerously justifiable discounts, but the gaming discounts have been particularly great. Not the usual handful of budget laptops with RGB keyboards pretending to be high spec, we’ve been seeing actual, significant money off kits from names you’d actually buy, like Alienware, Razer, Acer, Logitech, alongside last-minute markdowns on essential furniture, controllers, and even PS5-friendly earbuds that have the potential to change your whole setup.

We’re big fans of the AOC Gaming CQ27G2SE, largely due to the superb design of its curved screen. We’d recommend it at RRP, so at a discount it’s not to be overlooked.
£500 off in the sale
With £500 off (yes, you read that right), this premium rig is a must-have deal for anyone looking to invest in a high-end laptop for the long term. It’s an absolute powerhouse, easily rivalling a dedicated gaming PC in performance.

The Kaiser 2 serves up tall-back comfort, 4D armrests, and a surprisingly luxe finish, all for under £250. It’s big, boasts PVC upholstery, and reclines back to 160 degrees, making it perfect for gaming marathons or work-from-home slogs. The only downside we found is that the lumbar pillow isn’t fixed (slightly annoying). But overall, it’s a real power seat without the four-figure price tag.

Mixed reality is increasingly used for movie watching, game playing and even fitness. This headset is now on offer and could be your route to a whole new world of gaming.
£56 off

With solid support and impressive noise cancelling, these earbuds are great for PC and mobile gaming, and double up perfectly for everyday Bluetooth use. Compatible across platforms (there’s also an Xbox variant), these true wireless earbuds are a slick solution if over-ear headphones feel too heavy or you want something fresh for your collection.

MSI
One of the bigger savings we’ve seen this Prime Day, the MSI Cyborg offers reliable specs while handling heat well thanks to its standout ventilation. Featuring an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050, 16 RAM, and a solid 512GB SSD, this sub-£1000 deal is perfect for anyone after heavy-duty performance without breaking the budget.
Save £110
A step up from the RTX 4060, the MSI 5060 packs double the memory at 16GB, outputting smoother 4K gaming. If you want a noticeable jump in power, this card’s 13% discount makes for a smart upgrade for that little bit extra. Ideal for heftier titles that need more memory or advanced DLSS support. Just be sure to check compatibility.
When does Amazon Prime Day end?
Amazon Prime Day ends later today, Friday 11 July. Some deals might linger into the weekend at roughly the same price, but there’s no saying for certain. So if you spot something at a discount that you’ve had your eye on for a while, you might want to get in your basket and bought before midnight.

We also recommend tools like CamelCamelCamel and Keepa. These compare prices to other times of the year, ensuring you’re truly getting the best Amazon Prime Day deals.
What date is Amazon Prime Day 2025?
Amazon Prime Day kicked things off on Tuesday 8 July and runs until Friday 11 July. If you’re a Prime member, you can still shop the deals before the sale wraps up.
Is Prime Day two times a year?
Not quite. Amazon Prime Day is once a year, falling in July. But since 2022, Amazon has also introduced Prime Big Deal Days, a second major sales event in autumn packed with exclusive deals for Prime members. It’s a similar members-only sale, joining the usual Spring sale and Black Friday events that happen each year.
Is the Amazon Prime Day only for Prime members?
Yep. The Amazon Prime Day deals are exclusive to Prime members. That said, if you’re not one yet, you can always start a free trial of Amazon Prime to get access.
Are there any Nintendo Switch 2 deals in the Prime Day sale?
Not many, unfortunately. Since the console has only just launched, discounts on the Switch 2 itself and its accessories are pretty much non-existent. That said, it’s worth checking out Switch 2 games. A few games are already seeing price drops. And sure, they might not carry the Prime Day badge, but there are some decent deals worth looking out for.
