Lenovo’s Legion Go PC gaming handheld just hit its lowest price of the year for Prime Day at $500

As part of the ongoing Prime Day sale, Amazon is offering Lenovo’s Legion Go PC gaming handheld for $499.99 shipped. This is the base variant with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, which has gone for as much as $699 in recent months – and that’s still the current price at Best Buy. Today’s deal at Amazon, however, shaves $199 off that price to mark the return of the lowest price we’ve tracked for it this year. This is one of the lowest prices we have tracked for this handheld, and it’s now within $27 of its all-time low from Black Friday last year. Head below for more details.

The Lenovo Legion Go may not be the brand’s newest gaming handheld on the market, but it remains a good option overall and is still pretty capable at running games on the go. It sports a large 8.8-inch WQXGA display with a smooth 144Hz refresh rate, and it’s powered by an AMD Z1 Extreme processor, paired with 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of PCIe Gen4 SSD storage. Unlike Valve’s Steam Deck or the newer Legion Go S that runs on SteamOS, this model runs Windows 11, giving you full access to a wide range of PC games right out of the box. Other highlights of this handheld include detachable controllers, Hall effect joysticks to eliminate drift, and a unique vertical mouse-style stabilization disk for enhanced precision.

Lenovo’s relatively newer Legion Go S handheld with Windows is also down to $500 right now as part of Best Buy’s Black Friday in July sale. It has a slightly different design and comes with 32GB RAM and 1TB SSD, and it’s down from its usual price of $730.

Lenovo Legion Go features:

16:10 8.8″ WQXGA (2560×1600) 144Hz display that can be scaled down to 800P/60Hz gives you the flexibility you need for gaming or media consumption, balancing power and performance. Featuring the AMD Z1 Extreme Processor, 16GB of power efficient and performant 7500MHz LPDDR5X memory, and 1TB PCIe Gen4 SSD with scalable power profiles from <10W to 25W+ The Windows 11 Operating system provides maximum game platform and title compatibility. The integrated Legion Space software helps you keep it all organized. Comes with 3 Months Free XBOX Game Pass Ultimate so you can hit the ground gaming.
