A big-name designer clothing brand is shutting its only Kent store – with a much-loved chocolatier set to take its place.
Jack Wills is currently holding a closing-down sale at Ashford Designer Outlet.

It is the brand’s last remaining shop in the county after the Canterbury branch shut in December 2022.
However, the unit – which will be empty by the end of this month – already has another occupant lined up.
McArthurGlen bosses say global chocolate maker Cadbury is set to move in.
It will be the company’s first outlet store in Kent, with 17 already set up across the UK.
Peter Heritage, centre manager at Ashford Outlet, said: “We can confirm that Jack Wills will be closing its store on Saturday, July 26.

“We’re excited to announce that Cadbury will be opening as its replacement in September.”
Yellow closing-down signs have been erected in the windows of the clothing shop, advertising 20% off all items.
Frasers Group – which owns Jack Wills among other brands – has been approached for comment.
There had been a Cadbury chocolate shop at Chatham’s Dockside Outlet Centre for 18 years.
But it closed permanently in 2021.
