If you own a PS4 or PS5 console, you know that every month Sony offers you free games with the PlayStation Plus subscription. So, what games are on offer in September 2025? We tell you!
Owners of PlayStation consoles enjoy a nice gift every month. Sony is offering several games free of charge to PlayStation plus subscribers. A good plan that allowed us to (re)discover creations such as RoboCop: Rogue City, Hollow Knight: Voidheart Edition, Call of Duty Black OPS IV or NBA 2K24, all offered at some point by Sony to PS+ holders.
Last August, Sony delighted both amateur and experienced gamers with Lies of P, a Souls-like game inspired by the story of Pinocchio. We also had the chance to fight what’s left of humanity in DayZ, a post-apocalyptic survival game. We ended the month with My Hero One’s Justice 2, a fighting game based on the anime My Hero Academia.

And what does PS Plus have in store for us this month? Sony is offering us a playful back-to-school season with three games on offer in September 2025. This month, we’re rushing to pick up Psychonauts 2 (PS4), a funny, zany action-adventure set in a psychedelic universe. Don’t miss the very popular Stardew Valley (PS4), an RPG and management game in which you have to develop your grandfather’s farm. And last but not least, a cosy, poetic puzzle game: Viewfinder (PS4 and PS5). In September, we’ve got a great selection of games to sweeten the return to school or work!
