If you were waiting for the prices to drop due to Labor Day sales to get yourself a high-end gaming PC, the time is now. We recommend checking out the Corsair Vengeance i8200. This gaming PC is currently available with a 9% discount on Amazon, reducing its price from $4,699.99 to $4,299.99.

This is a $400 price cut, and while it may not seem like a lot, considering what this prebuilt PC brings to the table, we think this is a reasonable price tag as it sports the RTX 5080, 14900KF, 4TB of storage, and plenty more.

What is in this gaming PC?

RTX 5080

The RTX 5080 is an excellent high-end 4K graphics card, and it showcased excellent native 4K gaming output and productivity when we reviewed the RTX 5080 FE and the ASUS ROG Astral RTX 5080 OC. That being said, it isn’t mentioned which variant will be included in this gaming PC, so we’ll use the findings of the RTX 5080 FE to showcase its potential, as it isn’t overclocked.

We paired the RTX 5080 with the Ryzen 7 9800X3D and got the following results. F1 24 ran with 84 FPS at 4K with ultra high graphics, while Cyberpunk 2077 ran at an average of 72 FPS. In titles like Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, the number increased to 126 FPS, but what this means is that this GPU can easily handle 4K gaming without needing DLSS 4 and MFG to pull the weight.

Intel Core i9-14900KF

The i9-14900KF is a powerful processor and should pair excellently with the RTX 5080. Whether you’re playing games at 1080p or running complex simulations, this 14900KF shouldn’t disappoint at all. The only difference between this CPU and the 14900K is that the latter has integrated graphics while the former doesn’t. Besides that, they are similar in every aspect, and to give you an idea, we tested the 14900K in-house, and it managed 39,973 points in the Cinebench R23 multi-core score. So, this combination shouldn’t give you any trouble, regardless of the task at hand.

CPU cooler

The 14900KF can run hot, and that was the case with the previous generation of Intel processors. So, to keep it cool, this gaming PC features the Corsair H150i ELITE CPU cooler. We’ve reviewed the Corsair H150i ELITE LCD XT and gave it a 4.5/5 rating. We stress tested the 14700K with this cooler to see how it’ll perform, and the maximum temperature recorded was 100°C at full fan speed, and the CPU throttled 12%.

However, there isn’t a scenario where you would have to push every core of the CPU to that extent for everyday use, and outside of that, this cooler should do a good job of keeping the 14900KF cool.

RAM

This gaming PC features 64GB of DDR5 RAM, specifically the Corsair Dominator Titanium RGB. We’ve also reviewed this RAM in-house at PC Guide, and it showcased excellent performance. It achieved 79.8 points in the Aida64 Extreme memory benchmark and recorded read, write, and copy scores of 77,633, 85,539, and 71,594, respectively. So, what this means is that you should have no issues running multiple instances of demanding applications with this RAM handling operating in this gaming PC.

Is this gaming PC worth it?

Looking at the specifications and the performance it should deliver, we think that this gaming PC is worth it, and if you were hunting for a gaming PC that pulls plenty of heavy weight, this option shouldn’t disappoint. Corsair is a renowned brand, and it includes plenty of its components, such as the CPU cooler, 5000T PC case, 1000W gold PSU, and more. So, when it comes to quality, there shouldn’t be any compromises, and you should experience what a top-notch prebuilt PC has to offer.
