Riot Games Reveals T1 and Faker Worlds Championship Commemorative Skin Video

Riot Games has unveiled the first look at the 2024 T1 League of Legends World Championship commemorative skins, releasing a video today that highlights the team’s journey and the champions chosen for this year’s collection.

The showcase reflects on T1’s run through the tournament, with each player’s skin selection tied to a pivotal moment in their championship campaign. Support player Ryu “Keria” Min-seok and top laner Choi “Zeus” Woo-je chose Pyke and Gnar, referencing standout performances in the quarterfinals. Jungler Moon “Oner” Hyeon-jun and AD carry Lee “Gumayusi” Min-hyung picked Vi and Varus, both of which carried them through the semifinals. Team captain Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok, the Finals MVP, selected Yone for his standard skin and awarded Sylas the honor of becoming the Prestige skin.

Champions Selected by Faker and Championship Heroes

Players can preview the full skin lineup today on League of Legends’ Public Beta Environment (PBE). Riot Games confirmed the official release is scheduled for September 11. The publisher also announced that a series of events will accompany the launch, spanning both in-game celebrations and live activations at esports venues, including the LCK arena. Specific details on those events will be shared closer to release.

The commemorative skin line has become a staple of League of Legends esports, with each World Champion team receiving a unique set of cosmetics tied to their winning roster. For T1, this marks another entry in their storied history, cementing their record as one of the most decorated organizations in the game.

Faker’s role in shaping T1’s legacy looms large over this year’s commemorative skins. Widely regarded as the greatest player in League of Legends history, Faker has led T1 to four World Championship titles since his debut in 2013, more than any other player. His decision to feature both Yone and Sylas highlights his reputation for champion versatility and clutch performances in critical matches. For T1, the 2024 skin line not only celebrates their most recent triumph but also adds to a long-running tradition of honoring the roster’s defining champions during the team’s most dominant eras.

The full reveal video and skin details are available now on Riot Games’ official YouTube channel.
