While an opening date is yet to be confirmed, the potential arrival comes as the unit is expected to be divided into two.

The Pandora bid is among a series of other planning applications that have been lodged with the authority.

Ramsgate’s Clock House is again on the agenda, with new paperwork covering schedules of work linked to its ongoing renovation.

The listed harbour building is earmarked for a café and community space, and was given approval by TDC in June.

In Garlinge, a High Street property is the subject of a certificate of lawful development to confirm its use as a small children’s home housing up to three young people, with staffing levels said to be no different from a typical family household.

In Broadstairs, a developer wants to scale back a previously approved battery energy storage facility next to Anson Close, reducing the size of the unit and altering the site layout.

Margate has several applications of note, including listed building consent for roof and drainage repairs at a property in Liverpool Lawn, and plans for dormer windows at a flat in Canterbury Road to create a loft conversion.

Warehorn Cottage in St Nicholas-at-Wade could see changes to its porch, fenestration and materials as part of a wider extension project, while a retrospective bid has been made for a detached two-bedroom home in Minnis Road, Birchington.

Another retrospective application is in for a former shop in Grange Road, Ramsgate, which has been converted into a flat.

Behind Hawley Square in Margate, two garages are proposed to provide three parking spaces and bin storage.

All applications are awaiting a decision and remain open for public comment.
