Gamescom happened over the weekend and there were a plethora of new titles announced (and elaborated) on that have us extremely excited about heading into the rest of 2025 and 2026. There are a lot of talking points coming out of the event, but here is a list of 17 games that were either announced or given a deeper dive into that we’re most excited about

Hell Let Loose looks like a very intense game, focusing on a war not usually featured in modern gaming: the Vietnam War. This first-person shooter puts you in the shoes of soldiers on both sides of the conflict, featuring large scale multiplayer battles.

This co-op romp puts you and a friend into a cyberpunk future where you take on the roles of criminals and mercenaries for hire as you engage in espionage and elaborate heists.

This third-person adventure game takes place in Italy in 1348. It features a young knight named Aeta who must embark on a quest to rescue her abducted companion. Intricate swordplay and masterful storytelling await.

In the much-anticipated follow-up to Resident Evil: Village, we follow newcomer Grace Ashcroft, who returns to the infamous Raccoon City. Requiem will deliver all the hits of a Resident Evil game—terrifying monsters, elaborate puzzles, and epic storytelling.

Hell Is Us is a third-person action game in which you control Remi, a UN peacekeeper in the post-apocalyptic country of Hadea. Remi must battle gruesome creatures in his search for his lost parents.

This is a very charming cinematic platformer where you take control of a young boy who befriends an orphaned fawn. The boy and his new friend must use each other’s skills and their developing maturities to overcome obstacles and survive this perilous journey.

This fever dream of a title is a third-person cooperative shooter where you become a mercenary taking on odd jobs through bounty hunting to fund your dream of owning and operating a pizza restaurant.

In this beautiful 2D sidescroller, US Marshal Justine is possessed by a serial killer named Dr. Carnival who you must rely on to take on other serial killers throughout a haunted hotel.

This open world RPG casts you as Prince Tristan as you explore the chaotic Britannia. This game features a story-driven adventure, customizable combat, and life-simulating activities like fishing, cooking, and treasure hunting.
