Riot Games has unveiled the latest cinematic for League of Legends, marking the arrival of the third and final season of 2025. Titled “Still Here”, the video was released Monday and sets the stage for the conclusion of an ongoing storyline that spans Noxus and Ionia.
The cinematic continues the journey of Xin Zhao, who first appeared in Ionia during last season’s video. His path now collides with characters such as Atakhan, weaving through a darker and more dramatic atmosphere than previous entries.
Produced in collaboration with French animation studio Fortiche, “Still Here” extends a longstanding creative partnership. Fortiche is best known for its work on the Emmy-winning animated series Arcane, as well as several of League’s most iconic music videos, including Imagine Dragons’ “Warriors” and the Worlds anthem “RISE.”
The Final Season of the Year is About to Begin
Alongside the cinematic, Riot confirmed that players can expect a series of events tied to the season’s rollout. These will not only take place in-game but also at esports venues, including the LCK in South Korea. Specifics about event formats and rewards will be announced at a later date.

The studio emphasized that this season closes out the broader narrative arc of 2025, which has been focused on political and cultural tensions across Runeterra. Riot Games has used these seasonal videos for over a decade to build anticipation and deepen connections with the game’s lore and characters.
