One of the most beloved PSP game series is making its way to PS5 later this year. Gamers can check out a free demo of the game, but there is one tiny caveat.
Lumines Arise gets free limited-time PS5 demo
Announced during the June PlayStation State of Play, Lumines Arise has a free PS5 demo on the PS Store right now. However, players will only have between now and September 3 to check out the latest iteration of the musical puzzle game. The demo features three single-player stages and the new Burst Battle multiplayer mode.
It should be noted that PS VR2 support will not be available in the Lumines Arise limited-time PS5 demo. However, it will be available when it launches. Also, the demo only features Easy difficulty, but there will be four different difficulty levels at launch.
With the free PS5 demo announcement, developer Enhance also revealed the release date. Lumines Arise will release for PS5 with PS VR2 support and PC via Steam with Steam VR support on November 11. It is available to preorder on the PS Store right now.
On the PS Store, Lumines Arise costs $39.99 for the Standard Edition. While there aren’t any fancy preorder bonuses, PS Plus subscribers can save 10% for preordering the game, bringing the price down to $35.99. There is also a Digital Deluxe Edition priced at $44.99 normally, but is also eligible for a 10% discount for PS Plus subscribers, bringing the price down to $40.49.
