Children’s author Michael Rosen is finding joy in the small things in his new book, Good Days: An A-Z of Hope and Happiness.
The writer, who is known for his large collection of novels and poetry, is celebrating his latest release with fans at an intimate evening in Sevenoaks.

Michael, 79, is sharing the little things that bring hope and happiness into our lives in the book, which offers a different joyous moment for each letter of the alphabet.
He will be talking about his latest publication, as well as his previous works including We’re Going on a Bear Hunt and Michael Rosen’s Sad Book, during his upcoming author event, organised by Sevenoaks Bookshop.
After finding success in the 1970s and 1980s with some of his earliest books, Michael has achieved the PEN Pinter Prize in 2023 and the JM Barrie Award in 2021.

He was appointed Children’s Laureate from 2007 to 2009 and, during this time, set up the Roald Dahl Funny Prize, to recognise humorous books written for younger audiences. The award was won by the likes of Andy Stanton to Louise Rennison.
Michael Rosen will be at Walthamstow Hall in Sevenoaks on Thursday, September 4. You can book tickets online here.
Standard tickets cost £15, but you can also include a copy of the book for £20.
