A restaurant chain, which had already closed before due to financial problems, has shut again, much to the disappointment of its customers.
The Skull Bar in Royal Star Arcade, Maidstone, announced its closure yesterday (August 22).

In response, customers expressed their sadness on social media, calling it a “really special place” with “one of the best burgers”.
The venue had previously been a fully vegan eatery, called The Rainbow Skull Grill, in London Road, but it shut in December 2022, citing rising energy and food costs.
However, it returned months later with a new name, The Skull Bar, and meat on the menu.
The venue served craft beer, rum selections, cocktails and “simple” food like burgers and chicken wings.
Writing on Facebook, The Skull Bar team said: “As many of you are aware we are now closed.

“We again would love to thank you for all your customer over the years. We had the best team. Our little skull family.
“R.I.P team skull.”
The Royal Star Arcade in the centre of town connects the High Street with Market Buildings and Earl Street.
It can house up to 28 retail units and is already home to the successful Pad Thai Live, and its sister beach-themed bar.
But, over the years it has come under scrutiny as a number of businesses within the shopping centre have been put on the market.
